Filipinos be like, “Sus, walang forever?” or in English, “There is no such thing as forever.” Really? Wala nga ba? Forever as defined in the internet is something that will last for a lifetime. Yes, there is no such thing in this world that will last forever. Yes, we are not immortal. Yes, we won’t stay a child forever, because we need to grow up. Yes, we won’t be in grade school all our lives. Yes, everything will change. Ok, I get it.

It’s funny that some people who are heartbroken or sometimes called “bitter” will tell you that “Sus, walang forever?” To be honest with you, I need to disagree with that. If there is no such thing as forever then how come the word “forever” exists? Oh diba, napaisip ka?

Well, let me tell you that in a relationship, you cannot guarantee that both of you will be together until the end. There is NO such thing as destiny. Right? Tama o Tama? They say that “We fall in love by chance; we stay in love by CHOICE.” That is your decision, not mine, not theirs, but yours. If you are willing to go and fight for your love, do it. After all, it is you who knows yourself. It is you who knows what you feel. So, if you really love that person, fight for it. Lumaban ka, magpakatotoo ka.

There will be forever, if you will want it. Yes, you gave up. That is your choice, and who am I to judge you? No worries, a right time will come for you. But don’t give up on Love. Love exists, Love is everywhere, Love is in you, Love is in your family, and Love will always be there always. Ok, ba pre?

However, there are some people out there that will still say that there is no such thing as a love that will last for decades and decades. Sure ka? Isip ka ulit? Yes, there is love that will last forever. But this love is not coming from a simple person. This special love is coming from God. God loves you. God loves you, even you make mistakes. God loves you, even you hurt him. Even if it hurts him the most, he will still love you. The person you love may leave you, but God will always be there by your side. God’s love cannot be matched by anyone. Because God’s love endures forever. Napaiyak ka ba?

Yes, there is such thing as forever. You may not get what you wanted, you may get hurt, you may be left behind by the person you love, but I tell you, it is not the end of the world. God will never let his children get hurt, so be happy, continue to love, continue to fight, and continue to live. God wants you to be happy, but it may be too early. Be patient, God has a perfect plan for you, and you are going to love it.

Love yourself, love your family, love your friends, and show the world of God’s Love.
